As the picture above shows, a chair is levitating on a superconductor in a stable manner. It wouldn’t be the case if the supraconductress was any kind of conductor/conductress in which a constant electric current was passing. The stability comes from the fact that the supraconductress is a diamagnetic, µ?1, with negative susceptibility.
Comme le montre la photo en en tête, une chaise lévite sur une supraconductrice de manière stable. Ce ne serait pas le cas si l'on remplaçait la supraconductrice par n’importe quel conducteur/trice dans laquelle circulerait un courant constant. La stabilité découle du fait que la supraconductrice est un diamagnétique, μ?1, susceptibilité négative.

The performance ends when the blocks of ice have melted down completely."

Des micros-contact placés sur la glace, amplifiés et retravaillés en direct par un musicien, magnifient les sons habituellement sourds et presque imperceptibles des craquements de la glace. La performance se termine lorsque les blocs de glace ont entièrement fondu.”
